Critical Hit & Blizzcon Performance!

Hey guys! I am so excited to finally announce my involvement in a new rock band: Critical Hit

The band is a video game themed rock band made up of Violin (Me), Cello (Tina Guo), Piano (Salome Scheidegger), Electric Guitar (Nita Strauss), Drums (Joel Taylor), Woodwinds (Pedro Eustache), Bass (Carlitos del Puerto), and Synth (Jason Hayes, composer for Blizzard). We all recorded our parts for the first album “Critical Hit: Volume I” months ago, so it’s so exciting to finally see everything come together and share it with all of you.  If you like the idea of video game music mixed with rock music, then I think you’ll love these arrangements 😉 We all got together for the first time last week and had our first rehearsal and shot 4 videos over the course of 2 days with FifGen Films. It was a pretty intense schedule but also a ton of fun. It was an absolute pleasure playing with such amazing musicians and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to play in this group. It’s so nice to be a part of a group that clicked so well together right off the bat! The album releases on October 31st, 2013 and our first live performance is 10:00am November 9th, 2013 at BlizzCon at the Anaheim Convention Center in CA. If any of you guys are going to be at Blizzcon please let me know because I’d love for you to stop by at the performance!

Hi, I'm Taylor,
your music career guide!

I’ve been a violinist for over 25 years and for over the past 10 years I’ve been building my skills and career as an independent musician. Within that time I’ve grown an online audience of over 3 million people, released 11 full-length albums (5 of which charted on the Billboard Charts) and traveled the world touring my own live show, all without ever signing with a record label. One of my greatest passions is helping other musicians learn and grow from my own knowledge and experiences through my Musician of All Trades courses.
