Thank you for visiting the Taylor Davis online store. Listed below are the store policies, digital order policies and information regarding shipping and handling for the sheet music book:

 

DIGITAL ORDERS

Once your digital order is complete, you should be redirected to a page where you can download your items (download links will be in blue).  You should also receive an email containing an order summary as well as containing download links to the digital items you purchased (please check your spam folder, as your email may have ended up in there due to the links).

If you completed a digital order and were not re-directed to a page to download your items and still have not received an email containing download links, please contact support@taylordavisviolin.com with your order number and products you purchased and someone will be able to send you new download links.  Additionally, if you created an account and placed your order while logged in, you will always be able to access your order history and download any purchases directly from your account.  Once you’re in the store, click on “My Account” then “Orders” then “View” next to the particular transaction you wish to view. From there, you’ll see a download link in blue that you will be able to click and download your order directly from your account. If you’re trying to access a download from an order over 3 months old, the link may have expired but you can still contact support@taylordavisviolin.com to receive a fresh download link to your purchase, just be sure to include your order number in the email.

 

SHEET MUSIC BOOK ORDERS

The physical sheet music book is able to ship throughout the US and to most other countries in the world. There are 2 flat rate shipping methods available: USPS First-Class Mail for US orders and USPS First-Class Mail International for International orders.  Once we receive your payment, your book will typically ship within 2-3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).  Orders placed within the US typically arrive within 2-4 days after the order was shipped.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

For International orders, books generally arrive between 5 and 10 days after the order is shipped.  Depending on your country, your order may be subject to an additional customs inspection that can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. Unfortunately, these inspections are something that are completely out of our control and at the discretion of your local customs agency.  Customs policies vary widely from country to country, and if you feel your order is taking longer than it should to arrive to you based on the above shipping estimates, you should contact your local post office for further information.  If your package has been subject to an additional inspection, you may need to personally claim it at your local post office, otherwise your package may be returned to us.  If you do not claim your package and it is returned to us, we can reship your package for an additional flat rate fee ($8).  Please contact support@taylordavisviolin.com for assistance, and once we receive the additional shipping fee we will be able to reship your package. International orders may also be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country (“Import Fees”). The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such Import Fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be or if they will even occur.  It is best to research the Import Fees of your country before placing an order.

If by accident you entered incorrect shipping information, or want to cancel your sheet music book order, please immediately send an email to support@taylordavisviolin.com to update your correct information. If we receive your information before your order has been shipped, we can make changes or cancel an order at no additional cost. We can not cancel or change shipping information once an order has been shipped.

 

SHIPPING RATES, MAIL CLASS INFORMATION AND TRACKING

We offer one class of mail service for US and International orders: First-Class Mail and First-Class Mail International.  This is the most economical mail service that we’ve found for shipping the sheet music book.  Because of this, unfortunately your package does not come with accurate tracking information.  We receive a “Shipment Number” when we create the shipping label that allows us to see when the package leaves the United States, but after that, this number does not provide accurate tracking outside of the United States.  We don’t include this number with our orders due to the inaccuracy and the fact that it is not an official tracking number.  The next most economical shipping option, Priority Mail International, does include accurate tracking but is nearly 4 times more expensive than First-Class Mail International (more than $31 per sheet music book) which is why we don’t offer this type of shipping service.  First-Class Mail International has been very reliable in our experience, and generally the only issue we’ve seen is packages being returned to us that weren’t claimed at a customer’s local post offices.  As explained above, these packages were held due to additional customs inspections beyond our control that the customer was not aware of, which is why we urge you to check in with your local post office if your package has not arrived within 10 days after shipment.  If you would like to learn more about First Class Mail International, please click HERE to read more on the official USPS website.

 

ORDER STATUS, PAYMENT, AND RETURNS

If your order is Pending, this means that your order has been received, but we are awaiting payment. Processing means that your order has been approved and we have received payment and is waiting to ship (this only applies to physical orders). Complete means that your order has been shipped.

Currently PayPal (and credit card through PayPal) is the only accepted method of payment in the store.

We are unable to issue refunds for any digital products unless an accidental duplicate purchase has been made (we will issue you a full refund less the PayPal processing fee for accidental duplicate orders). If you are have trouble downloading a product, or if your download link has expired, please contact support@taylordavisviolin.com to resolve any issues.

We do not accept returns for the sheet music book, but if your sheet music book was damaged in the mail, please send a picture of the damaged book to support@taylordavisviolin.com to receive a replacement.
