My New Christmas Album: An Enchanted Christmas

My new Christmas album came out earlier this month and I’m really excited to share it with all of you! Christmas music holds a very special place in my heart because it’s what actually inspired me to start learning the violin many years ago as a child. Christmas music is just such a lovely celebration of family, friends, and most importantly to me the birth of Jesus, and listening to it always seems to get me in a great mood and cheery holiday spirit πŸ˜€

As with my previous album, An Enchanted Christmas is fully orchestrated with violin parts leading the melody. I also arranged, orchestrated, recorded and mixed/mastered everything on the album myself. In this particular album I wanted to feature more multiple violin parts in almost a duet type style. My favorite track on the album is Auld Lang Syne because of how creative I felt I could be with it. I feel like so many versions of Auld Lang Syne are almost depressing sounding, and I really wanted to create an arrangement where I felt it would inspire people to meet the new year with an excited and hopeful attitude! I also sing the beginning phrases in that track before the music comes in (there are about 6 different vocal tracks I layered for harmony) so for those of you who have ever asked me to sing, there you go πŸ™‚

I really hope that you get a chance to check out my new album and that it finds its way into your home with your family and friends to bring in a little extra cheer this Christmas πŸ˜‰ There has been no greater gift than the support you have all given me over the past few years and I will be forever grateful for all of it. Thank you so much and have a most blessed Christmas and New Year!
